Coffee Lovers

I must say that Starbucks has been one of my favorite coffee shops of all time. But, I must say that getting your caffeine almost, if not, every single day, from there, then the expense adds up each week.

So, when I found out about this VIP status card, I had to get one as soon as possible!

This is how it works:
- You first start with a gift card
- You go on the Starbucks Rewards website and register the gift card
- After each purchase you start earning stars
- From green level you jump to golden level
- On the golden level you get free drinks as well as birthday perks
- Also, on the golden level you do get a mailed golden card from the company with your name and the year.

Swan Lake

I must say that Despicable Me has joined my favorite movies' list!

Towards the end of the movie when Edith, Margo, and Agnes re-do the dance recital for Gru and the minions, there is a piano melody. It didn't take me that long to do the research seeing that many people had already asked the same question blog after blog... but, apparently nobody had an answer.

Through video watching, I found this melody to be a Waltz from Swan Lake Op 20 by Tchaikovsky.
(Through permission of the youtube subscriber 'StarWarseu' here it is!!!

London & Paris? Why not?!

My sister convinced me to spend a few days in Paris instead of the whole two weeks in London. I must say that I was easily persuaded. I mean, who wouldn't want to see the beautiful Eiffel Tower?!

So, The first week we are staying in London, then we will take a train to Paris and stay there for the remainder of the time and then fly home.

I want to plan every minute of everyday to get the full experience on my first trip to Europe.

My sister bought me the Rick Steves' London 2011 book and as you can probably imagine, I am marking all the places I want to visit. After I am done with this book, hopefully I'll be able to get the Rick Steves' Paris 2011 book and do the same.

I can't wait!!!

Summer London Trip!!!

I am now officially starting to plan my London Trip!! There is so much I want to get done in those 2 weeks!.... London Eye, LIsten to the 12 magnificent chimes of the Big Ben, Sherlock Holmes Museum, British Museum. National Gallery, Tate Modern, The Tower of London, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, The British Library, Westminster Abbey, St. Pauls Cathedral, catch a movie at "The Scoop Amphitheater," Take a stroll on Hyde Park, Stonehenge, Change of Guards, Jack the Ripper Tour, Take a peek at the 2012 Olympics site, Browse street shops, see Covent Garden, Tour the Globe Theater, visit the home of William Shakespeare, etc etc etc (Just to name a few places I want to visit when in London)

On a side-note: its ironic how regardless of the revolution we had more than 200 years ago, many Americans (like myself) feel the need to visit Great Britain; Even if that's [technically] where we got most of our roots. [ I wish the British accent had stayed though T_T )
